Hawaiʻi Sea Level Rise Vulnerability & Adaptation Workshop II : A Road Map for Sea Level Rise Adaptation in the 21st Century

The Department of Land and Natural Resources, along with their consultant, Tetra Tech and their partners, the Office of Planning, the University of Hawai‘i School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology,  the University of Hawai‘i Sea Grant, and the Pacific Islands Climate Science Center, held a second Hawai‘i Sea Level Rise Vulnerability & Adaptation Workshop.  The purpose of the workshop was to present preliminary results of the statewide Sea Level Rise Report and have participatns assist the ICAC in identifying sea level rise adaptation targets and recommnedations to be included in the report.  These recommendations are intended to establish a “Road Map” for sea level rise adaptiaotn enabling our government and communities to minimize exposure to erosion and flooding which are intensifying with increasing rates of sea level rise.
